Longest letter installed at the Brockhole Lake District Visitor Centre.

We shot a short film for James Cropper Speciality Papers presenting the longest letter project. Residents and visitors to Cumbria are being called up to write a message of support for the region’s UNESCO World Heritage Bid by visiting Brockhole, the Lake District Visitor Centre and in the process boost the attempt to write the World’s Longest Letter. We shot a series of portraits in the studio for Pionér Protective Clothing. Instead of studio strobes we used LED light panels and high ISO settings to give the shots a gritty look. They were then composited by the agency into a series of hyper reality style images. As sensor technology continues to break new ground I can see constant LED light sources becoming the ubiquitous work flow for studio and environmental portraits.
